Tanuki Beats stores your music library on your device. Playback and library management happen locally on your iPhone or iPad unless you choose a feature that contacts an external service.
Tanuki Beats sends limited, account-scoped product telemetry to Tanuki Cloud when a verified App Store account proof is available: the Cloudflare-derived country code, verified app version and distribution environment, daily playback seconds, music-source import counts and source type or protocol (Local Files, iCloud Drive, SMB, FTP, NFS, WebDAV, or OneDrive), metadata and online-lyrics enhancement outcome counts by selected provider (Apple Music, MusicBrainz, LRCLIB, or AMLL), Membership paywall impressions, the outcomes of purchase, restore, and offer-code actions, and the verified Membership tier (free, monthly, yearly, or lifetime). This telemetry does not include an install ID, device ID, IP address, region, city, song titles, artist names, file paths, listening positions, search text, lyric text, audio content, prices, or billing details. Raw telemetry events are retained for up to 90 days; account-level daily summaries may be retained for product reporting. A compact, keyed one-way pseudonymous value derived from a verified purchase or offer-code transaction may be retained after raw-event deletion solely to prevent the same conversion from being counted again. Restore funnels are deduplicated only during the raw-event retention window. The claim does not contain Apple's raw transaction ID, prices, or billing details.
If you sign in with Apple, Tanuki Beats connects to Tanuki Cloud to identify your account. Cloud Sync can keep library metadata, playlists, and related state aligned across your devices—not audio files. Sign-in uses Apple’s identity token; we do not receive your Apple ID password. Membership is purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase and provides unlimited playback.
You can permanently delete your Tanuki Cloud account in Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. This deletes the server account, profile, device refresh sessions, and direct account links. Your music files, on-device library, iCloud data, connected-source credentials, App Store purchases, and independent playback-allowance records are not deleted. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately in Apple’s subscription settings. When Apple authorization is available, the app also revokes Sign in with Apple automatically; otherwise it provides the Apple Settings path for manual revocation.
If Apple reports an auto-renewable subscription in a time-limited billing-retry grace period, signed renewal information may be paired in memory with a separately verified signed transaction to continue eligible Membership access. Renewal information alone cannot authorize Membership. These signed proofs are not retained in our databases or application logs, and billing grace is not counted as a new purchase or offer-code conversion.
For free playback, we store short playback leases, seconds used or reserved in the current UTC week, the number of distinct active playback weeks, allowance configuration, and a link to the app’s random install identifier for support and administration. We do not receive song titles, artist names, file paths, listening positions, audio content, or Apple Account contact details through this process. Playback allowance ledgers and inactive links are retained for up to 90 days. A locally verified active Membership provides unlimited playback without depending on our server.
Automatic metadata and artwork enhancement is optional and off by default under Settings → Metadata. Apple Music and MusicBrainz matching are available without Membership. When enhancement runs, search text derived from a song’s title, artist, album, or file name may be sent to the selected provider. Audio files, your full music library, and local files are never uploaded.
Tanuki Beats prefers lyrics already on your device (embedded tags, supported sidecars, or previously saved lyrics). If local lyrics are missing, the app may contact the lyrics source you select—LRCLIB or AMLL—during library ingest or playback. A lookup may include song title, artist, album, duration, ISRC, or an existing Apple Music / lyrics-record identifier. AMLL requests pass through Tanuki Cloud with verified app-acquisition proof; that proof is not forwarded to AMLL. When Cloud Sync is enabled, the selected provider name, stable lyrics-record ID, canonical retrieval URL, format, and update time may sync so another device can fetch that exact document; lyric text and timed payloads are not placed in CloudKit. Audio files are never uploaded.
When you start or enable metadata matching, search text may be sent to Apple Music or MusicBrainz. Tanuki Beats does not upload your audio files, lyrics, artwork, or your full music library.
When online lyrics lookup runs, Tanuki Beats sends the song title, artist, album, and duration to LRCLIB to search for synced or plain lyrics. Audio files are never uploaded.
When AMLL is selected, Tanuki Beats may send an existing AMLL record ID, Apple Music song ID, ISRC, or song title and artist to Tanuki Cloud. Tanuki Cloud verifies the app acquisition and requests the public AMLL TTML API. The app proof is not sent to AMLL. Returned TTML may include word timing, translations, romanization, background vocals, and provider identifiers. Audio files are never uploaded.
Metadata matching and cover-art preview may use Apple Music. Artwork is downloaded for the selected match. Audio files are never uploaded.
When fingerprint-assisted matching is used, Tanuki Beats generates a Chromaprint fingerprint locally and may send the fingerprint plus track duration to AcoustID / MusicBrainz. Raw audio is never uploaded.
Developer Options is hidden by default and intended for internal diagnostics only. Cloud Sync and Membership are managed in Account; metadata enhancement is under Settings → Metadata. Audio files are never uploaded.
OneDrive is an optional music source available without Membership. Tanuki Beats browses folders and supported files for library indexing and playback, and may rename or delete items that you explicitly confirm in the app. Tanuki Beats does not create folders, upload files, or move items in your OneDrive, and your music files are not uploaded to Tanuki Beats servers.
If you connect an SMB or WebDAV share, Tanuki Beats reads audio from folders you select for browsing, indexing, and playback. After an explicit in-app confirmation, you may rename or delete items on that share. Optional lyrics enhancement may write a matching .lrc file beside the audio on the share. Credentials stay on your device. Local folders, iCloud Drive, SMB, and WebDAV do not require Membership.
Audio files remain in iCloud Drive, your connected cloud accounts, network shares, or on your device. Tanuki Beats does not upload your music files to our servers. Optional Cloud Sync stores library metadata and playlists only.

Tanuki Cloud 与狸猫音乐会员：通过 Apple 登录后，App 会连接 Tanuki Cloud 以识别账户。Cloud Sync 可在设备间同步资料库元数据与播放列表（不含音频文件）。全部功能均可免费使用；会员提供不限时长播放，免费用户使用每周播放额度。对于免费播放额度，服务端还会保存经 Apple 验证身份的匿名摘要、短播放租约及本周已用/预留秒数；该流程不接收歌曲名、文件路径或音频内容。
你可在设置 → 隐私 → 删除账户中永久删除 Tanuki Cloud 账户。服务器账户、个人资料、各设备刷新会话和直接账户关联会被删除；音乐文件、本机资料库、iCloud 数据、已连接来源的凭据、App Store 购买项目及独立的播放额度记录不会被删除。删除账户不会取消 App Store 订阅，订阅需在 Apple 的订阅设置中另行管理。Apple 授权可用时，App 会自动撤销“通过 Apple 登录”；若无法自动撤销，App 会提供前往 Apple 设置手动撤销的路径。
若 Apple 显示自动续期订阅处于有时限的账单重试宽限期，服务端可在内存中把签名续期信息与另一份已经验证的签名交易严格配对，以继续提供符合条件的会员权益。续期信息本身不能授权会员。这些签名证明不会保存在数据库或应用日志中；宽限期也不会计为一次新的购买或优惠码转化。
元数据与封面（可选，默认关闭）：在 设置 → 元数据 中开启。MusicBrainz 与 Apple Music 匹配均无需会员。不会上传音频文件、完整音乐库或本地文件。
歌词：优先使用设备上的内嵌、旁路或已保存歌词。若本地没有，会按你选择的来源查询 LRCLIB 或 AMLL；可能使用标题、艺术家、专辑、时长、ISRC、Apple Music 歌曲 ID 或已保存的歌词记录 ID。AMLL 请求经 Tanuki Cloud 验证 App 来源，但验证证明不会转发给 AMLL。开启 Cloud Sync 时，只同步来源、稳定记录 ID、规范获取 URL、格式和更新时间，以便其他设备精确重取；歌词正文和逐词时间文件不写入 CloudKit。不会上传音频文件。
OneDrive：可选、无需会员；浏览、建库与播放，以及你确认后的重命名或删除；不创建文件夹、不上传、不移动。
网络共享（SMB / WebDAV）：读取并播放所选文件夹；确认后可重命名或删除共享上的项目；可选歌词增强可能写入旁路 .lrc。凭据留在设备。本地 / iCloud / SMB / WebDAV 无需会员。
你的音乐文件保留在 iCloud、所连接的云盘、网络共享或设备上。我们不会上传你的音乐文件；可选 Cloud Sync 仅存储资料库元数据与播放列表。

Tanuki Beats（タヌキビーツ）はデバイス上に音楽ライブラリを保存します。外部サービスに接続する機能を選ばない限り、再生とライブラリ管理は iPhone / iPad 上で行われます。
Tanuki Beats は、Apple が検証したアカウント証明を取得できた場合に限り、Tanuki Cloud へアカウント単位の製品テレメトリを送信します。内容は Cloudflare が提供する国コード、検証済みの App バージョンと配信環境、日ごとの再生秒数、音楽ソースの追加数、選択した提供元（Apple Music、MusicBrainz、LRCLIB、AMLL）別のメタデータ／オンライン歌詞強化結果数、会員購入画面の表示回数、購入・購入の復元・オファーコード利用の結果、検証済みの会員種別（無料・月額・年額・生涯）です。install_id、端末 ID、IP アドレス、地域、都市、曲名、アーティスト、ファイルパス、再生位置、検索内容、歌詞本文、音声データ、価格、請求情報は含みません。生のテレメトリイベントは最大 90 日間保持され、アカウント単位の日次集計は製品分析のために継続して保持される場合があります。同じコンバージョンの重複計上を防ぐ目的に限り、検証済み取引または購入復元フローから鍵付き一方向処理で生成したアカウント単位の仮名化済み重複排除値を、生イベント削除後も保持する場合があります。この値には Apple の生の取引 ID、価格、請求情報は含まれません。
Tanuki Cloud とタヌキビーツ会員：Cloud Sync は音声ファイルを含まないライブラリ索引を端末間で同期できます。すべての機能は無料で利用でき、会員は再生時間が無制限です。無料ユーザーには週単位の再生枠があります。
設定 → プライバシー → アカウントを削除から Tanuki Cloud アカウントを完全に削除できます。サーバー上のアカウント、プロフィール、各端末の更新セッション、直接のアカウント連携は削除されます。音楽ファイル、端末内ライブラリ、iCloud データ、接続先の認証情報、App Store の購入、独立した再生枠の記録は削除されません。アカウントを削除しても App Store のサブスクリプションは解約されないため、Apple のサブスクリプション設定で別途管理してください。Apple 認証が利用できる場合は「Apple でサインイン」も自動的に取り消し、利用できない場合は Apple 設定で手動解除する手順を案内します。
Apple が自動更新サブスクリプションを期間限定の請求再試行猶予期間として報告する場合、署名済み更新情報を、別途検証済みの署名済み取引とメモリ上で厳密に照合し、対象となる会員アクセスを継続することがあります。更新情報だけで会員を承認することはありません。これらの署名済み証明はデータベースやアプリケーションログに保存されず、猶予期間を新規購入またはオファーコードのコンバージョンとして計上することもありません。
メタデータとカバー：オプションで既定オフ（設定 → メタデータ）。MusicBrainz と Apple Music はどちらも会員不要です。音声やライブラリ全体はアップロードされません。
歌詞：端末上の埋め込み・サイドカー・保存済み歌詞を優先し、無い場合は選択した LRCLIB または AMLL に曲名、アーティスト、アルバム、長さ、ISRC、既存のプラットフォーム ID を使って問い合わせる場合があります。AMLL へ App の検証証明は転送されません。Cloud Sync 有効時は提供元、安定レコード ID、正規取得 URL、形式、更新時刻だけを同期し、歌詞本文やタイミング文書は CloudKit に保存しません。音声はアップロードしません。
OneDrive / ネットワーク共有：閲覧・再生に加え、確認後の名前変更／削除ができます。
音声ファイルは iCloud、接続したクラウド、NAS、またはデバイス上に残ります。任意の Cloud Sync は索引のみです。
